Are you an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse looking for a fulfilling new role working a varied caseload alongside a supportive and passionate team? If so, we have a great opportunity for a nurse looking to progress your career in a busy and expanding Hospital setting in lively North London.
Our client’s flagship hospital is looking for a tier 2 or 3 nurse to join their highly skilled team. The hospital is well established in the community providing 24-hour inpatient, referral and emergency care for their patients and are proudly accredited with a dog friendly clinic status from the Dogs Trust and British Veterinary Behaviour Association, as well as boasting ISFM gold cat Friendly status.
This role is full time, permanent, working 42hrs a week over 4 days, with 1in6 weekends. You will be responsible for always providing the highest standard of patient and client care. Will ideally have a positive, compassionate and enthusiastic attitude and be comfortable working independently and as part of the team. Applicants will ideally understand the importance of flexibility and teamwork in a hospital environment.
You will be focused on inpatient care, working alongside and supporting the medical, surgical and critical care teams and supporting diagnostics for medical and surgical cases. At all times you will have the support of an experienced team of clinicians, nursing and support staff working alongside you. All of whom are actively encouraged to take on further CPD and develop their skills and knowledge throughout their time in the hospital.
The hospital itself is based in North London with great public transport access nearby and lovely local amenities. You will find the 4-floor hospital well equipped with everything you need including a dedicated Intensive care unit, full theatre, separate cat/dog wards, full diagnostic facilities and on site laboratory.
