Veterinary Nurse - referral practice

My client is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their friendly team on a 12-month Fixed Term basis for Maternity Cover. Situated in picturesque Surrey, this purpose-built facility offers a unique and rewarding environment for the right candidate.

Imagine working in a state-of-the-art facility, equipped with two operating theatres and an on-site CT scanner, all set in a beautiful rural location. The practice is a busy, dedicated small animal orthopaedic referral practice, accredited by the RCVS PSS. The practice relocated five years ago to a newly refurbished building, ensuring you have access to the best tools and technologies to excel in your role.

The team is composed of highly skilled professionals, including an RCVS Specialist in Small Animal Surgery and an RCVS Advanced Practitioner. The nursing team, led by an experienced Head Nurse, includes eleven RVNs and two VNAs, all committed to providing exceptional patient and client care. A supportive team culture is at the heart of the practice, making it an ideal place for a likeminded RVN who is passionate about their work.

The role offers a competitive salary ranging from £31,000 to £34,000, depending on experience. Full-time hours are available, with part-time considered, and shifts range from 7:15 am to 7:00 pm, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule. You'll also benefit from a fair share of late shifts and a 1 in 6 weekend on-call rotation, with no out-of-hours duties required.
