Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a nurturing and collaborative environment? A fantastic position awaits for a confident and skilled Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly and inclusive small animal practice in West London, accredited by the RCVS.
Imagine working in a supportive team of dedicated professionals, including two RVNs, an SVN, and a VCA, all committed to delivering the highest standard of care to our beloved animal patients. Nestled in this vibrant London location, this practice has been a cornerstone of the community for over thirty years, known for its professional, friendly, and compassionate service.
This full-time role offers a balanced work schedule of 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with shifts ranging from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Additionally, you’ll work one in four Saturday mornings (9:00 am to 1:00 pm), with a weekday off to compensate. Enjoy the peace of mind that comes with no out-of-hours responsibilities.
With a competitive salary of up to £32,000 per annum, dependent on experience, your contributions will be well-rewarded. Your responsibilities will include monitoring patients before and after surgery, administering medications, preparing animals for procedures, and performing diagnostic tests. You will also play a crucial role in patient wellbeing by restraining and handling animals, cleaning kennels, and maintaining surgical instruments. Your expertise will extend to assisting with x-rays, admitting and discharging patients, conducting nurse consultations, and providing valuable advice to clients.
This role also offers an impressive array of benefits designed to support your professional and personal wellbeing. Enjoy six weeks of paid holiday, including bank holidays, and a £600 CPD allowance per annum. Health Shield contributions cover a wide range of health and wellbeing treatments, from dentistry to sports massage. Your RCVS membership and one additional membership subscription will be covered, along with VDS cover. Enhanced paternity, maternity, adoption, shared parental leave, and surrogacy pay are also provided.
Additional perks include discounted veterinary fees, access to offers, discounts, and cashback on shopping, travel, and entertainment, a cycle-to-work scheme, CPD/training support, company sick pay, colleague engagement surveys, and annual pay reviews. A strong focus on employee wellbeing ensures that you feel valued and supported in your role.
If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in a practice that values both its patients and its team members, this role could be the perfect fit for you.
