Are you a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon seeking an opportunity to work in a family-run practice where your expertise and dedication will be valued? Look no further!

The practice is proudly run by a husband and wife duo who are committed to providing exceptional care to our furry, feathery, and scaly friends. The owner holds certificates in exotics and anaesthesiology, making the practice a go-to destination for a diverse range of animal companions. In fact, their dedication and outstanding service have earned them the prestigious VetHelpDirect 'Best Vet in County' award for the year 2023.

At the practice, you'll encounter a fascinating and varied exotics caseload, including rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, meerkats, lizards, snakes, axolotls, frogs, birds (both pet and wildlife), such as chickens, parrots, finches, and more. They are proud to collaborate with our local wildlife charity, Pawprints, to provide care to foxes, squirrels, hedgehogs, and even sea birds as the practice is just a short 5-minute walk from the beach. In the past, they've also handled unique cases, including seals and a whale – an exciting opportunity for any Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for exotics.

You'll have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including a brand-new ultrasound, digital x-ray, endoscopy, and laparoscopic equipment. Their commitment to excellence ensures you have the tools you need to deliver outstanding care to your beloved patients.

They believe in fostering a healthy work-life balance for their team. You'll be on a rota of 4-4.5 days a week, with no on-call responsibilities. Additionally, they only require you to work 6 Saturdays a year. They highly value continuous professional development, offering 5 days of CPD with an uncapped allowance, including certifications.

At this practice, it's all about the person, personality, and work ethic. They are committed to nurturing your potential and providing any necessary training and support. They believe in flexibility and strive to accommodate your passions and interests.

We're looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with exceptional skills, a caring demeanor, and a genuine passion for all animals. Your dedication to providing the best care possible will be highly valued in this practice.
