This mixed family run practice in the beautiful County Cork is excited to welcome a dedicated Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to their esteemed Small Animal team. This full-time role is perfect for a passionate professional eager to join a dynamic and supportive environment. The practice boasts a state-of-the-art Small Animal Hospital, staffed by a committed team of four full-time small animal vets and seven skilled nurses. Additionally, the branch clinic is home to one vet and two nurses, ensuring comprehensive care across locations.

The hospital is renowned for its specialist orthopaedic and soft tissue surgeries, high-standard small animal dentistry, in-house physiotherapy, laser therapy, and first opinion veterinary care. With two advanced certified veterinarians holding postgraduate certifications in small animal surgery and internal medicine, the practice is at the forefront of veterinary excellence.

The role involves out-of-hours duty for small animal emergencies on a manageable rota of one night a week and one weekend in four, ensuring a balanced workload.
