Join this experienced team of veterinary professionals at their state-of-the-art Small Animal practice, located on the outskirts of Sheffield - a vibrant cultural hub with easy access to the picturesque Peak District National Park. With excellent transportation links to the rest of the UK and beyond, you'll enjoy the best of both city and country living.

They've built a loyal client base over the past decade and are seeking a positive and enthusiastic veterinary surgeon to continue growth. This family-run, RCVS-accredited practice boasts 5 experienced vets, 3 RVNs, and several SVNs working a 3.5 FTE schedule. They offer a 15-30 minute appointment service for both vets and nurses, allowing ample time for more complex cases. Plus, they make sure there is time for everyone to take regular tea breaks together and always have cake and biscuits on hand!

The purpose-built facility is equipped with industry-leading technology, including a dedicated operating theatre, separate cat and dog wards, in-house lab equipment, Doppler ultrasound, digital x-ray, and dentistry facilities.
They offer a 4-day workweek with a fixed weekday off, a 1 in 4 Saturday only schedule, and no OOH or in-patient responsibilities. They also welcome part-time applicants for any number of hours per week, and even ensure that no one works on their birthday.

You will be provided a supportive work environment with opportunities for career development, a competitive salary, pension, paid professional subscriptions, and exclusive company discounts and rewards. They also offer a generous CPD allowance
and actively support those interested in pursuing a certificate. An interest in orthopaedic surgery would be a plus, as you'll be able to take on the current orthopaedic caseload, but it's not a requirement.

If you have at least a year's post-graduate experience and are looking for a great work-life balance and a fun and supportive atmosphere, we'd love to hear from you. Contact us at laura@vettedrecruitment.co.uk for more about the position and how we can help you make your next career move.

You must be eligible to register with the RCVS as a Veterinary Surgeon to be considered for this position.
