Our client’s busy, small animal practice are looking for a passionate and hardworking experienced or recently graduated Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and supportive team.
You will work a 41hr week, working 4 days with one set day off and 1 in 3 or 4 weekends which is on an equal rota amongst the team.
You will be joining a strong team of three vets (who together boast certificates and experience in small animal surgery, diagnostic imaging, soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery), three RVN’s, one SRVN and one VCA, along with five other support staff. While the practice is open weekends and bank holidays, they do refer their patients to a dedicated out of hours service provider, allowing for a good work life balance.
The practice itself is incredibly well equipped with a new endoscopy unit, advanced ultrasound machine, inhouse radiography and idexx blood machines. It is also perfectly located just outside London with easy access to the city centre and Southend Beach for exploring in your free time, and you will be close to London Stansted Airport and the M25 for travel further afield.
