Veterinary Surgeon - consultations only

The long standing team is composed of experienced vets, three Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), one Veterinary Care Assistant (VCA), and two receptionists, all working together to provide top-tier care.

The practice itself is a haven for rewarding work. The facility is equipped to a high standard, featuring three consultation rooms, a theatre, and separate cat and dog isolation wards. Additionally, there is a designated colleague space with an office and kitchen area.

This team are truly valued with a structured approach to work, with a clear diary system, frequent catch-ups, and group clinical discussions. This ensures the team can consistently deliver first-class care.

The practice is looking for an experienced vet with a broad range of general practice skills. The varied caseload will require confidence in all aspects of small animal medicine and surgery, with sole charge responsibilities one day a week. The practice is also open to considering a vet focused solely on consultations, which are scheduled for 15 minutes as standard, with additional time allocated when necessary.

Strong clinical skills are essential, but equally important is the ability to build strong relationships with patients and clients. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-oriented environment.

The role is primarily full-time, but part-time hours can be considered. The position includes a 1 in 4 weekend rota.
