In this role, you will be instrumental in diagnosing and treating a variety of conditions, utilizing your expertise in surgical procedures and patient care. You will conduct thorough examinations, perform surgical procedures including endoscopy (with training provided if needed), administer anaesthesia, and monitor patients during surgeries. Your ability to maintain accurate medical records and provide post-operative care guidance to pet owners will ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with a dedicated team of four vets, six Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), and ten support staff, including receptionists, admin, and Veterinary Care Assistants (VCAs). The practice accepts referrals for diagnostic and interventional endoscopy and advanced laparoscopic procedures, providing you with the opportunity to work on complex cases and further hone your skills.

The position offers a balanced work-life schedule with no out-of-hours commitments, a four-day workweek, and at least one dedicated surgical day. The hours are from 8:00 am to 6:30 pm, with a 1:4 weekend rota for four hours. Enjoy seven weeks of holidays and support for postgraduate certification to further your professional development.
