Our client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to be a part of a happy, thriving and well-respected practice that was established in 2003.
They want to ensure you achieve a healthy work life balance: to this end, the diary is managed carefully with a minimum of 90 minutes admin time blocked off every day in addition to one hours lunch break. The consult times are 20 minutes as standard and 30 minutes for more complicated cases. The last appointment is at 5.40pm. There are no OOH duties. The Saturday rota is 1 in 4 working 8.30-4pm. You will be supported by a phenomenal team of experienced RVNs who are confident in all Schedule 3 procedures. You must enjoy working cases up to a high standard and be able to provide excellent customer service. CDP is actively encouraged and supported for the whole team – including overseas conferences. A pro-rata salary of £42,000 for a recent graduate to £65,000, £or someone interested in a more senior role. They are a friendly, supportive team of 30, 8 experienced vets, 10 RVN’s and 12 support staff, who all share a passion for animal welfare. The practice is modern, spacious and air conditioned, within a standalone surgery that has lots of natural light. They also have a large colleague area away from the phones with sofas and a kitchen. They have all the equipment expected of a modern practice including dental radiography and a new Sonoscape ultrasound machine. They promote an enthusiastic and supportive culture; they mentor new graduates and are a nurse training practice. They have a loyal and bonded client base and are situated in a fantastic location, just a couple of miles from Bournemouth; 15 mins walk to blue flag beaches and near to both the Purbecks and the New Forest. The independent emergency clinic to which they transfer inpatients is also just 800m away!
