Are you an enthusiastic and experienced veterinary surgeon looking for a change, hoping to explore a new role in a busy independent practice? If so, we have a fantastic opportunity for you!
This role could be full or part time, permanent, working 3-4 days per week, with no out of hours and less than 1 in 4 Saturdays. You will be joining a tight knit team of 4 vets, 7 RVN’s and 2 student RVN’s who will support you day to day and be available for case discussions and general support in practice.
You will ideally be a positive, hardworking and passionate person, preferably with some experience in practice, however new graduates will still be considered. You will have excellent communication skills, be confident in all areas of general practice and take pride in constantly maintaining the highest standard of care to your patients and clients.
The practice itself is a busy independent, RCVS PSS accredited practice which continues to offer a full and varied caseload, without being overwhelming. You will have all the equipment necessary for your day to day in practice as well as excellent imaging facilities including digital dental x-ray machine, surgical theatre, inhouse lab equipment and everything necessary to offer Pet Passport consultations, treatments and documentation to clients. They see a high caseload of sift tissue surgery and also orthopaedics here so anyone with an interest in this area would be a benefit.
Located in the Staffordshire area, just north of Birmingham, this practice offers fantastic local amenities, public transport links and easy access to both Birmingham and Manchester airports.
In taking on this role you will benefit from a generous salary of up to £65,000 depending on experience, employee pension, and much more. Visa Sponsorship can be offered.
