Elevate your veterinary career with a leading independent practice in West Yorkshire. Our clients are currently seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to enhance their dynamic team. This thriving practice has experienced remarkable growth, consistently investing in state-of-the-art facilities, advanced equipment, and the professional development of their staff. As they continue to attract new clientele and cater to those beyond the reach of local competitors, the need for additional Veterinary Surgeons has emerged to secure the practice's future.
This full-time, permanent role will see the successful candidate primarily stationed at the hospital, with occasional branch work, mirroring the responsibilities of other hospital vets. The practice boasts a robust team of over 40 Veterinary Surgeons, including specialists in radiology, surgery, and exotics. With colleagues currently pursuing certificates in various disciplines, the environment is ripe for professional growth and peer support.
The hospital, along with its six branches, is outfitted with HEPA filtered operating theatres, comprehensive orthopaedics kits, a dental suite, facilities for neurosurgery, digital X-ray and ultrasound. An in-house laboratory, and an array of scopes including endoscope, laparoscope, arthroscope, as well as a 64 slice CT scanner. The practice also benefits from visiting specialists in dermatology and ultrasound, as well as access to MRI services.
As a proudly independent establishment, the practice is committed to providing exceptional care, striving to exceed the expectations of '1st Opinion' services by managing a wide array of treatments in-house and referring only when necessary. This philosophy not only fosters the development of staff but also strengthens the relationship between clients, their pets, and the practice.
Candidates for this role should possess a passion for veterinary medicine, a collaborative spirit, and a desire to engage in continuous learning. Experience in a similar role is advantageous, but the practice welcomes those with a strong foundation in veterinary medicine who are eager to thrive within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. Take this opportunity to discover a fulfilling career path where your skills will be valued and nurtured by joining a practice that prides itself on delivering the very best veterinary care and fostering lasting bonds with the community it serves. An imaging bias, or role with minimal surgery can be accommodated for the right candidate.
