Our client, an independent well established small animal clinic, with 2 additional branches, is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team.
The clinic was set up in the 1950's and more recently became solely a 100% Small Animal Clinic. This clinic has a passion for being as green as possible, they are located in a beautiful site close to the River Crouch and is renowned for its climate. London is a mere 1 hour by train and if you plan on travelling frequently, the close proximity of Stansted airport will make it easier. If you enjoy being near the sea or water sports are your thing then this location is perfect! Easy access to Maldon and Burnham on Crouch which are rated as one of the top sailing sites in the UK where there are fantastic restaurants and shops.
This is a modern, purpose-built practice with dental radiography, multi-parameters anaesthetic monitors, doppler blood pressure monitors, capnography, tonopen, ultrasound machine, rigid endoscope, gastroscope and bronchoscope, in-house laboratory with endocrinology, Sedivue urine analyser and with separate dog, cat, and exotics kennel wards. There’s an orthopaedic/soft tissue surgeon who visits the clinic, allowing the highest level of care in-house. The clinic is also a Nurse Training Practice.
This is a full-time position with a working pattern of 5 weekdays, early and late shifts, with no OOH! A 4 weekdays option can be considered as well and part time candidates welcome to apply also. You will be joining a large team of 10 vets, 10 RVN's, SVN's and many support staff. Join them for pizza parties in the large garden!
The salary package on offer includes 28 days holiday per year, pension scheme, paid RCVS fees, staff discounts, funded CPD, amid other benefits. Visa sponsorship for overseas applicants is available.
