Are you seeking a new role in a veterinary practice that stands out from the crowd? Look no further! Our client's recently expanded independent practice in Lancashire offers a supportive environment for you to develop your skills, whatever your skill level.
The clinic boasts two fully equipped surgical theatres, cutting-edge diagnostic utilities, an in-house laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, and a range of reproductive facilities, including frozen semen storage. The recent expansion includes a hospital ward for in-patients, ensuring continuous care of your patients throughout the night, for your peace of mind.
You'll be joining a team with a keen interest in soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Most procedures are catered for, with very little ever being referred out. This means no two days are ever the same and you'll get a mix of both consults and surgeries each day, making it an ideal place to develop your surgical skills quickly.
The nursing team, led by experienced RVNs and a student veterinary nurse, runs various nurse clinics catering to senior pet health checks, weight clinics, and puppy socialization throughout the week. The team are on first name terms with the majority of their clients, reflecting the valued service they provide to the community. The practice reputation has seen the client list continue to expand, as owners move from other practices in the local area.
Nestled in the heart of Lancashire, the area is rich in history and boasts a blend of vibrant town life and scenic beauty. Historic architecture and proximity to the stunning Pennine countryside provide a picturesque backdrop for both work and leisure.
Living in Lancashire means enjoying a cost-effective lifestyle while having access to a range of amenities, including shopping centers, cultural attractions, and excellent schools. The warmth and friendliness of the community make it an inviting place to build your career and establish roots.
Visa sponsorship can be available, but you must be eligible to register with the RCVS to be considered for this position.
