Our clients are looking for an experienced vet looking to advance their career with further qualifications to continue their professional journey. The practice offers a unique blend of professional development, work-life balance, and a friendly, supportive team environment.
Their thriving first opinion small animal practice provides exceptional client service and fosters a positive and supportive practice culture. The practice is well-equipped with all the standard equipment necessary for varied and interesting caseload, including a high percentage of surgical cases week to week. The team’s nurturing environment contributes to a growing reputation and loyal client base, with staff members often staying long-term.
The practice is currently focused on their aims to achieve Investors in the Environment and RCVS Practice Standards Scheme awards, reflecting a commitment to continuous improvement and sustainability within the veterinary practice.
The role itself is full time, permanent, working a 4-day week with 2 out of 5 Saturday mornings (8.00 am - 12.00 pm). However, the practice can be flexible and are open to discussions to suit individual preferences. It includes a mix of consulting and surgery with no out-of-hours (OOH) requirements and can have a very good surgical caseload if this is a specific area of interest.
You will be joining a supportive and experienced clinical team, including a surgery certificate holder (currently on maternity leave) and another vet pursuing a feline medicine certificate. The practice actively encourages and supports further qualifications for experienced vets.
Nestled in a lively market town with a growing community, particularly popular among young people. The practice is conveniently located, with Norwich 30 minutes to the north, the coast 30 minutes to the east, and Thetford Forest 30 minutes to the west. There are trains nearby going to London every half hour, taking approximately 90 minutes to reach the city centre.
