Are you ready to join a progressive and dynamic team dedicated to providing exceptional care? My client is seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to become a valued member of their supportive and thoughtful team. This is your chance to work in an environment where your skills and passion for animal welfare will be truly appreciated.
You will be part of a friendly and bubbly team that values camaraderie and mutual support. With a practice that has been serving the community for over 8 years, you will have access to state-of-the-art facilities, including an ultrasound, in-house lab, and x-ray. The practice even converts the x-ray room into a more comfortable space for euthanasia, ensuring a compassionate environment during difficult times.
The team consists of 2 full-time vets, 5 qualified nurses, 1 VCA, and 4 receptionists, all dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of care. The practice is a proud member of the practice standards scheme and has received commendations for exceptional client service. Known for its welcoming and friendly atmosphere, this is a place where both clients and staff feel at home.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be confident, friendly, and enthusiastic with excellent communication skills. You should possess strong general small animal surgical and medical abilities and have a genuine desire to learn and improve. Flexibility and the ability to work well under pressure are essential, as is a shared commitment to animal welfare.
This full-time role involves working 40 hours a week, including 1 in 3 weekends, with no out-of-hours requirements. Flexible working arrangements, including school hours, are available to suit your lifestyle.
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of up to £60,000 (DOE), a contributory pension scheme, generous CPD, and funding for certificates for the right candidate. Additional benefits include the option to buy extra annual leave, paid memberships (RCVS, VDS), exclusive company discounts and rewards, and, of course, plenty of tea and cake!
Join a fun, hardworking, and motivated team, where you can develop your specialisms in a supportive environment. If this sounds like the perfect fit for you, I would love to hear from you!
