Our clients are looking for a passionate and energetic veterinary surgeon to join the team in their well-established general practice in Singapore. This international clinical team consists of 5 vets from all over the world.
The practice has a varied small animal and exotics caseload, allowing you to focus on SA only, exotics or both depending on your interests and you will be actively encouraged to engage in CPD and training for further development and enjoy a healthy work life balance. The practice itself is well equipped with a full in house Idexx suite, digital Xray, ultrasound, rigid and flexible scopes, tonometry, BP doppler and fluid pumps.
This role is full time, permanent, working a 4-day week including most Saturdays (1in5 Saturdays off). There are some out of hours during the week, however this is not offered as standard to clients so is minimal. You will be on a 1 week in 4/5 rota for this and will be paid extra for any time spent in practice out of hours.
Applicants will ideally be hard working and resilient, have good communication and leadership skills and work well individually and as part of a team. You will be keen to continue to develop your skills and knowledge base and understand the complex relationship between human and animal, as well as that between a vet and their client. You will have a strong work ethic and be serious about always providing gold standard care to your patients.
Ideally our clients are looking for a vet with prior experience and understanding of the industry, however they are open to new graduate applicants depending on experience and level of skill. Regardless of experience the new vet will have the full support of the current team and newer graduates will be on rota alongside experienced colleagues for additional support if required.
As for location, Singapore is a fantastic place to visit and live, with a perennial sunny climate, it is very safe and has a stable economy. You will have easy access for travel to and around South Asia and all it has to offer in breath taking beaches and landscapes.
