Veterinary Surgeon - Surrey/Small Animal & Exotics

Are you looking for a role where you will have access to a busy and varied caseload, where your nights are your own and you have the backing of a team with over 250 combined years’ of experience? 

Our clients are looking for an experienced and energetic veterinary surgeon to join their team working in a state-of-the-art, independent practice dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to their patients and clients.

The role itself is full time, permanent working a 4 day week, with alternating days off, 1 in 4 weekends on and no nights.  Candidates will ideally be confident working in a busy practice sole charge and as part of the larger team and have at least 1 year's experience in practice.  As the practice offers a varied caseload including some exotics work, you will ideally have some interest and experience with exotics allowing you to work with their exotics RVN on such cases, however this is not essential. For those with a keen Exotics interest they could offer up to 60% Exotics caseload here.

You will be joining a clinical team of 6 vets and 5 registered veterinary nurses, supported daily by a strong reception and administration team.   The practice works with a dedicated out of hours team who are based within the practice at night and weekends, allowing you a better work/life balance and ensuring consistency of care for patients and the least stressful experience for both patients and clients in an emergency.

The practice itself offers fantastic facilities with separate wards (including an individual exotics ward), spacious consult rooms, dental suite, digital x-ray, isolation unit, operating theatres, ultrasound and onsite laboratory.  It is nestled in North Surrey, just 30 minutes from the stunning Surrey hills and only an hour from London city centre by car or train and is surrounded by beautiful houses and country parks.  You will have great public transport links at your fingertips and for those who drive there is ample free parking at the practice and you are within easy reach of the M25 for further travel within the UK.
