This is a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a supportive, close-knit team in a modern, well-equipped small animal practice located in a leafy North London suburb. Whether newly qualified or experienced, this role offers a positive and progressive environment where every team member is genuinely valued and encouraged to grow.
The successful vet will be joining a friendly, collaborative team where everyone works closely together—not just as colleagues, but as trusted companions. With a well-established and loyal client base, there’s real opportunity to build lasting relationships and deliver personalised care in a setting where clinical excellence is a shared priority.
The practice offers flexibility to support a balanced lifestyle. With a 4-day working week and no out-of-hours or on-call responsibilities, the Veterinary Surgeon will have ample time to recharge and pursue life outside of work. Saturday mornings are worked fairly on a rota and time is respected for recovery and wellbeing.
Professionally, the successful candidate will be empowered to shape their role around their interests—whether they enjoy consulting, surgery, or a blend of both. With generous CPD funding and support for further qualifications or certificates, there’s room to advance and refine clinical expertise.
They’ll be supported by a highly skilled team of vets, RVNs and non-clinical staff, all of whom are committed to delivering exceptional care. The environment encourages learning, mentorship, and mutual support, and there’s a strong sense of camaraderie with regular team socials and genuine work-life balance.
What’s on offer:
Competitive salary up to £65,000 depending on experience
4-day working week
No out-of-hours or on-call
Fair share of Saturday mornings (with time in lieu)
5 weeks holiday plus bank holidays and a birthday off
Visa sponsorship available
Pension scheme, staff discounts, and other perks
Generous CPD allowance with support for certificates
Relocation support available
This opportunity is based in a well-connected North London suburb that offers the best of both worlds—city access with a relaxed community feel. With great transport links, green open spaces, independent shops, and excellent schools, it’s an ideal setting for anyone looking to put down roots and thrive both professionally and personally.
For a Veterinary Surgeon seeking a supportive, forward-thinking team and a practice where their voice is heard and their growth is a priority, this could be the perfect next step.
