Are you seeking a role that offers genuine autonomy and the chance to shape the future of a thriving veterinary practice? Look no further. My client is excited to welcome a new Lead Veterinary Surgeon to their team, with a competitive salary of up to £80,000.

About the role

This is your chance to lead a clinical team with the full support of an experienced Practice Manager and dedicated owners, allowing you to focus on what you do best—providing exceptional veterinary care.

Work-Life Balance

Enjoy a balanced work schedule with a four-day work week and only one in three Saturdays, ensuring you have ample time to recharge. Plus, there are no Sunday or Out of Hours (OOH) requirements, so you can maintain a healthy work-life balance.

Professional Growth

My client is committed to your professional development. Whether you’re looking to pursue further clinical qualifications or management courses, they’ll support and fund your studies. Additionally, all professional registration fees will be fully covered.

Stable and Supportive Team

Join a stable team where some staff members have been with the practice for over 20 years. You’ll be working alongside the two business owners, four other vets, six nurses, three receptionists, and two practice managers. The owner led, experienced clinical team, are there to support you every step of the way.

Path to Partnership

For the right candidate, there’s the potential to become a partner in the business, offering you a unique opportunity to step towards owning your own practice.

About the Role

As the Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will play a crucial role in mentoring junior vets, handling more complex cases, and sharing innovative ideas to enhance the practice. You’ll collaborate closely with the Practice Owners and Manager to drive the practice forward, ensuring they continue to deliver the highest standards of veterinary care.
