Veterinary Nurse - FTC

This temporary 6-12 month position, covering maternity leave, offers a unique chance to contribute to a practice renowned for its exceptional patient and client care.

As a valued member of the clinical team, you'll engage in a variety of nursing duties, including working in theatre, inpatient care, nurse consultations, and assisting other staff as needed. This full-time role features diverse shift patterns at our main practice on Portobello High Street, with only 1 out of 6 Saturdays required. Enjoy the benefit of no out-of-hours or bank holiday cover, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.

Ideal candidates will bring experience in a clinical setting, though new graduates are also encouraged to apply. Key attributes include conscientiousness, the ability to work closely with the clinical team, and a passion for delivering excellent care to patients.

We operate across three branches all equipped with top-tier facilities. Our main site boasts a dental suite with x-ray, digital x-ray, ultrasound, and an in-house lab. We are proud to hold Silver status for both rabbit welfare and feline friendliness.

The team is our greatest asset, comprising 10 vets, 6 registered veterinary nurses, and 5 receptionists. With several longstanding members, the team is committed to professional development, progression, and continuous professional development.
