Are you an experienced RVN eager to take the next step in your career? Imagine being part of a supportive, forward-thinking team that genuinely values its nurses. If this resonates with you, consider joining our clients as a Head RVN in beautiful Ayrshire.
This role is perfect for a passionate and driven RVN who thrives in a dynamic environment. The clinics are built on mutual respect, support, and continuous development. You'll be part of a management team that includes another Head Nurse and an RVN Business Partner (nurses are the cornerstone of the practice), ensuring that your role is understood and appreciated.
The team includes RVNs with specialist training in acupuncture, pain management, behaviour, and Schedule 3 surgical procedures. Whether you’re leading consultations, monitoring anaesthetics, or providing exceptional in-patient care, you'll be empowered to excel in your role. The clinics are equipped with modern tools and technology to help you deliver the best care possible.
The practice is led by four partners—two vets, one RVN, and a practice manager—ensuring every role has a voice. The 60-strong team is dedicated to delivering excellent clinical care and an exceptional client experience. The values are simple but powerful: treat others as you’d want to be treated, support each other, communicate openly, and respect work-life balance. Rotas and benefits are tailored to individual needs, recognising that one size doesn’t fit all.
The clinical team across the three practices includes 14 vets, 12 RVNs, 2 VCAs, 3 GPD-trained Clinical Lead Vets, and 3 Clinical Coach RVNs. Continual development is a priority, and you’ll always have a team to lean on, even when you’re not in the same building.
The ideal candidate is a qualified RVN with a passion for nursing and career progression. Positivity, energy, and a team-focused attitude are essential. Leading by example with outstanding clinical and client care, and enjoying team socials, will make you a great fit.
The role offers a competitive salary of up to £36,000, depending on experience, with flexible working options (30 to 40 hours per week). The benefits include a 1:4 Saturday rota, no OOH, generous CPD allowance with paid CPD days, professional fees paid, private healthcare extendable to family, enhanced maternity pay, income protection, and a pension scheme. Access to top clinical equipment and staff discounts.
Ready to join a practice that truly understands and values you? Apply now and take the next step in your rewarding career.
