Veterinary Surgeon - highly experienced, large team

Our client is seeking an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their dedicated team in the West Midlands. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys branch work and is ready to make a branch their professional home. With a mix of consultations and routine procedures, you'll be supported by a dedicated reception team, RVN, and PCA.

This award winning progressive and friendly team consists of 19 highly experienced vets, including 7 Certificate Holders in cardiology, dermatology, medicine, ophthalmology, and soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. The practices are equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic facilities, including CT, a fully equipped dental suite, 12 operating theatres, digital X-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, and a comprehensive in-house laboratory. These resources will enable you to deliver exceptional clinical care, with a strong insured client base and varied caseload supporting a wide range of clinical interests and professional development ambitions. 

The dedicated night team covers all out-of-hours work, and the last appointment is at 6:30 pm on weekdays. Weekend work is shared fairly on a rota basis, with time back in lieu the following week.

The ideal candidate will be confident across all first-opinion work, including surgery and medicine, and be RCVS registered with extensive first-opinion experience. Previous exposure to dentistry would be beneficial, and a team-oriented mindset with high standards of care is essential.
