This small animal practice, conveniently located near the A38 with excellent transport links to Nottingham, Burton, and the Peak District, offers a supportive and enjoyable working environment.

The modern surgery is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an in-house laboratory, and has been designed to industry-leading standards. They pride themselves on being a silver standard ICC Cat Friendly Clinic and a rabbit-friendly practice. The team consists of four vets, five nurse and four reception/administrators, all dedicated to providing superb standards of client and animal care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong general small animal surgical and medical skills and have a good knowledge of working up cases. This part-time role offers flexibility, with 15-30 hours per week, including a shared weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturdays. While some sole charge is required, there are no out-of-hours commitments. Flexibility with full or part days is available, ideally including Fridays.

In return for your dedication, an attractive salary of up to £65,000 (dependent on experience/full-time equivalent) is offered, along with a generous CPD allowance and funding towards certificates. Enjoy 5.6 weeks of initial holiday, membership fees paid, pension ad much more.
