Join the esteemed team at a practice renowned for its commitment to excellence and accredited as an RCVS Small Animal General Practice.
This prestigious accreditation ensures adherence to the highest standards in health and safety, hygiene, legal requirements, and 24-hour care provision. Here, the focus is on both preventative health care and the treatment of illnesses and accidents, ensuring the well-being of every small animal that comes through the doors.
Located in a vibrant South West London area, the practice benefits from a lively, well-connected neighborhood known for its rich history and modern amenities. The area is home to beautiful parks, riverside walks, and a variety of shops and restaurants, making it an attractive place to live and work.
As an experienced veterinary surgeon, you will thrive in an environment equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic tools, including an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, and both general and dental X-ray machines. The practice's robust facilities allow for thorough and rapid investigation of most cases in-house, with access to Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons-approved specialists for more complex treatments.
This role offers the perfect blend of independence and support, allowing you to leverage your expertise while being part of a collaborative and empathetic team.
The position involves a balanced schedule of four days a week, with a rotation of 1:3 to 1:4 Saturday mornings, where you will take sole charge. Your week will be split between two days of consultations and two days focused primarily on procedures, providing a diverse and engaging workload. Proficiency in dentistry and surgery is essential, and skills in ultrasound would be a valuable addition.
Empathy and the ability to integrate seamlessly into a supportive team environment are crucial. The practice prides itself on its friendly and collaborative atmosphere, ensuring that both staff and patients receive the highest level of care and support.
If you are a dedicated and experienced veterinary surgeon ready to contribute to a practice that values ongoing education and training, this role is the perfect next step in your career. Embrace the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive setting, where your skills and compassion will make a significant impact.
