Are you an experienced vet with a passion for both people and pets? An exciting role awaits at this 24/7 Hospital in charming Cheshire, where you can truly make a difference. As a Lead Veterinary Surgeon, you will guide a dedicated team of vets, ensuring the highest standards of clinical care through effective coaching and mentoring.

In collaboration with the Practice Manager and Lead Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the daily operations of the clinic. Your responsibilities will include evaluating clinic KPIs and P&L to ensure optimal performance and the continued success of the hospital. This is more than just a job; it's a chance to contribute to a mission-driven organisation.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical skillset and a passion for coaching and mentoring. Exceptional communication skills are essential, both with clients and the veterinary team. While a VetGDP qualification is preferred, those eager to obtain it are also welcome. Business acumen is a plus, but not essential. Experience in conducting 1-2-1 meetings, performance management, and leading staff and clinical governance meetings will set you apart.

The role offers a balanced rota of 40 hours over a 4-day week, with 2:9 weekends. Benefits include six weeks of holiday per year, fees paid, contributory pension, visa sponsorship and so much more.

If you are looking for a role where you can lead a team of exceptional vets, handle a varied and exciting caseload, and make veterinary treatment more accessible, this position is perfect for you. Apply now to join a team that values compassion, excellence, and community.
