This Hospital based in the South Yorkshire close to both Sheffield and Wakefield, is seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join its experienced and supportive team, focusing on inpatient care and emergency cases within a busy ECC service.
The Role
This is a dynamic position with a medically focused caseload, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference to patients in critical need. From performing emergency procedures to coordinating care with our skilled veterinary team, you’ll play a central role in ensuring every inpatient receives the highest standard of care.
The ideal candidate will:
Have excellent technical and clinical capability, ideally with ECC experience or a strong interest in developing this area, thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment, be a team player who enjoys collaboration and communication with colleagues, demonstrate empathy and strong communication skills with clients, particularly in sensitive or stressful situations and be organised, open, honest, and committed to delivering exceptional care
Rota & Hours: 40 hours per week
2 x 12-hour shifts (07:00–19:00)
2 x 7-hour shifts (07:00–13:00 or 14:00–21:00)
2:9 Weekend Rota
No overnight out-of-hours
