Join a Purpose-Driven ECC Team Where Every Shift Truly Matters

Are you an ECC-focused vet looking to thrive in a supportive, progressive hospital while still enjoying real time off?

This is your opportunity to step into a dedicated out-of-hours position in a well-equipped, accredited veterinary hospital based in Canterbury. You’ll work in a setting where your skills can shine, supported by state-of-the-art facilities including a CT scanner, in-house lab, high-spec ultrasound, endoscopy, multi-parameter monitoring, and two surgical theatres.

Why this role stands out:

  • You’ll be joining a collaborative and passionate team committed to delivering exceptional 24-hour care.

  • You'll have access to a full OOH support crew including skilled nurses and PCAs, making your shift smoother and more rewarding.

  • The rota is designed for genuine work-life balance — with only 7 night shifts and 2 weekend days per 4-week period.

Ready to build on your ECC career — or enjoy autonomy in a rewarding night role?
Whether you’re growing your emergency and critical care expertise or you're a seasoned OOH vet seeking more clinical freedom, this role supports your goals. Additional qualifications are encouraged — and fully funded — in an environment where learning and teamwork go hand-in-hand.

What’s on offer:

  • Competitive salary up to £80,900 FTE

  • CPD funding and support for further qualifications

  • Professional fees covered

  • Enhanced parental pay

  • Company pension scheme

  • On-site accommodation if needed

  • And a culture that values rest, recognition, and respect
