Our clients are looking for an enthusiastic nurse to join their award-winning team on a full-time basis. With over 50 years’ experience, they currently have 1 hospital and 4 branch surgeries, of which the hospital and 3 branches have been awarded ISFM feline friendly status along with many other accolades throughout the years.
The practice currently hosts certificate holders in Cardiology, Dermatology and Soft tissue, General and Orthopaedic Surgery, allowing them to offer both first opinion and referral services. With this variety of expertise, the nursing team are often heavily involved in all cases, including the more complex procedures which offers a fantastic opportunity for a nurse who is looking to develop their skills and build on their knowledge.
This role is full time, permanent, however part time or flexible working candidates will be considered depending on experience. Applicants will ideally enjoy a varied caseload day to day and be keen to experience working between the hospital and 4 branch surgeries, learning from the wider team.
You will have a passion for patient and client care and be confident communicating with clients regarding patient care and treatment plans, both verbally and in writing. You will also ideally be hard working and enthusiastic and providing exceptional care every day.
The practice itself boasts state of the art facilities with CT scanner, dedicated dental x-ray unit, referral level ultrasound scanner, in house laboratory, top of the range endoscopes, multiple ICU incubators, piped oxygen and separate kennels and cattery, both of which have built in underfloor heating.
Taking on this role you will be situated on the edge of what is the social, cultural and commercial centre of the Midlands, Birmingham. The city itself offers you fantastic night life, event venues, entertainment and eateries. You will also have easy access to the major motorways, M5, M6 and M1 as well as Birmingham International Airport for travel further afield. There is car parking available at the surgeries, however you also have great public transport links and buses passing the surgeries regularly.
