Registered Veterinary Nurse - Out of hours & Hospital based

We are calling all Registered Veterinary Nurses!  We have a fantastic opportunity for an out of hours nurse in a stunning small animal veterinary hospital in Scotland.

They currently offer the most up to date facilities and treatment, with all their practices being RCVS accredited. They pride themselves on being a family vet, both for their clients and their team.

As the practice have a dedicated out of hours team who provide emergency care for clients/patients from 10pm weeknights and 6pm weekends, this role is focused around caring for the medical and surgical inpatients overnight.

The role itself is 7 days on followed by 14 days off, working 6.30pm to 7.30am. Your evenings will consist of liaising with the wards vet and nurses to create a full handover and overnight plan, splitting the tasks and responsibilities between yourself and the overnight veterinary assistant, caring for the inpatients throughout the night and providing a full handover and treatment plan for the day team at the end of shift.  Applicants will ideally work well sole charge and as part of an intimate team.  You will be confident in your abilities and be able to think on your feet and react appropriately.  You will be passionate about always providing excellent care and bring a positive attitude to your evenings on shift.
