A world-renowned independent referral hospital in Surrey is seeking highly motivated veterinary professionals to join its team as permanent Veterinary General Practitioners. This dynamic role plays a vital part in supporting the hospital’s exceptional standards of patient care and ensuring the smooth running of its unique referral services.

The successful candidates will be responsible for admitting and managing referred cases, performing diagnostic evaluations, and overseeing the daily care and coordination of hospitalised patients. They will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, contributing to case management from initial assessment through to discharge.

The ideal applicant will be a well-rounded general practitioner with a strong interest in Emergency and Critical Care and medicine, including pain management, anaesthesia, surgical assistance, and urgent care. While previous completion of a surgical and/or rotational internship is advantageous, it is not essential. The role is designed to evolve over time, with opportunities for supported continuing education.

The hospital boasts outstanding facilities, including:

-Seven theatres

-Three x-ray suites

-1.5T MRI

-160-slice CT, operated by experienced radiographers

-A bespoke advanced custom implant design and manufacturing service

-A dedicated team of qualified physiotherapists and hydrotherapists on-site

This position offers a four-day working week, participation in the weekend rota (1:3 weekends, with days off in lieu), and a competitive salary dependent on experience. Benefits include:
