Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon looking for a fulfilling role in a supportive and dynamic environment? My client is seeking an experienced professional to join their dedicated team in the beautiful Southwest London/Surrey area.

At the practice, the emphasis is on providing an excellent work-life balance. Enjoy a structured 38.3-hour working week spread over four weekdays, with a set day off each week. The weekend rota is equally considerate, with only 1 in 4 Saturdays (9:00 am – 5:00 pm) and 1 in 12 Sundays (10:00 am – 4:00 pm), and no out-of-hours responsibilities. This schedule allows you to enjoy your personal time while thriving in your professional role.

The practice is well-equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including an endoscope, laparoscopic kit, ultrasound scanner, CR radiography, Class 4 laser, and a fully equipped in-house lab. The team comprises 10 vets and numerous nurses, many holding certificates in various specialisms such as emergency and critical care, small animal surgery, and advanced veterinary practice. This diverse expertise ensures a stimulating and collaborative working environment.

The practice is committed to the professional growth and well-being of its team members. The practice offers well-funded CPD, career progression opportunities, and a range of benefits including 5 weeks of holiday plus bank holidays and Birthday Leave, RCVS and VDS fees paid, and an extensive free online programme. Additionally, staff can benefit from a wellness programme, life assurance, enhanced sickness pay, and various discount schemes.

The ideal candidate will be an RCVS-registered veterinary surgeon with over three years of experience in first-opinion practice. A balance of clinical independence and team collaboration is essential, along with a passion for delivering high-quality care to clients and their pets. If you have a special interest in developing a clinical specialism or pursuing further qualifications, the practice will support and encourage your ambitions.

Join the practice and become part of a practice that values its people as much as its patients. Enjoy a rewarding career in a vibrant and supportive environment where your professional development and personal well-being are prioritised.
