Do you thrive in a busy hospital environment? We have a great opportunity for you to join this experienced team in Gloucestershire and build your day in a way that best suits you.
Our clients are seeking a friendly and hard-working veterinary surgeon to join their expanding team within their multi branch practice. They currently have one busy veterinary hospital and three smaller branch practices in beautiful Southwest England, offering a full and varied caseload.
The role itself is full time, permanent working 4 day weeks (40 hrs) and 1 in 4 Saturdays with no Sundays or out of hours. As they have the hospital and 3 branch surgeries, they are able to offer a variety of shift patterns and environments to work within and are therefore also open to part time applicants at this time.
Applicants should ideally be enthusiastic, be a strong team player and bring a positive attitude to the team every day. You should have excellent communication skills and be eager to continue to develop your skills moving forward.
Our clients boast fantastic, well-equipped facilities and currently offer first opinion care with a collaborative approach across the four sites, meaning they can offer excellent continuity of care with very few cases being referred externally. This along with the current clinical team’s experience and certificates in soft tissue surgery, orthopaedics, imaging, ophthalmology, medicine and dermatology allows them to offer their clients a unique and complete experience with a full variety of treatment options in house.
As well as being passionate about providing excellent client and patient care, our clients also aspire to be more environmentally friendly and are currently working towards their silver Investors in the Environment (IiE) accreditation helping to provide a better future for their team and the veterinary profession.
Benefits:
• Annual salary of £40,000 to £60,000 depending on experience
• 5 weeks annual holiday, plus bank holidays and 1 additional days birthday leave
• CPD and further certificates actively supported and funded
• Professional membership fees paid
• Career progression opportunities
• Enhanced sickness pay and equal family leave
• Generous employee discounts
• No Sundays or out of hours
