Are you an Advanced Practitioner in Dermatology seeking a fulfilling role within a supportive and dynamic environment? My client, based in Cheshire, are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join their esteemed team. This role promises not only professional growth but also a chance to be part of a practice that prioritises both patient and client care.

You will be welcomed into a friendly and enthusiastic team of Referral Vets, Night Vets, and experienced RVNs. The dermatology caseload is both busy and varied, requiring a practitioner who can manage referral cases independently. You will be working in a state-of-the-art, multi-disciplinary hospital, providing top-tier care to patients and collaborating closely with other referral teams, particularly in soft tissue surgery and medicine. The support of a dedicated Referrals Coordinator ensures that you can focus on delivering the best care possible.

This full-time role typically involves working from 8.45am to 6.45pm, but there is flexibility for part-time hours for the right candidate. Communication skills and the ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team are essential.

Boasting modern, well-equipped premises, including a veterinary hospital with a laboratory, highly equipped operating theatres, endoscopy, and 24/7 hospitalisation, the facility is equipped with a CT scanner, video otoscopy, blue light therapy, and a dedicated microscope and consulting room for dermatology.

The benefits package is comprehensive and designed to support your professional and personal wellbeing. Starting with a competitive salary of £55,000 per annum (dependent on experience), the package includes 6.6 weeks of paid holiday (including bank holidays), a £1750 CPD allowance, Health Shield contributions, paid RCVS membership and two other subscriptions, VDS cover, and enhanced family leave. Additional perks include discounted veterinary fees, access to discounts on shopping and entertainment, a Cycle to Work scheme, company sick pay, and regular colleague engagement surveys. Annual pay reviews and a focus on employee wellbeing further enhance this role, along with ample career progression opportunities.

Take the next step in your career within a practice that values excellence, teamwork, and personal development.
