Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to join a dynamic and supportive team?
This Hospital group in South Manchester is seeking a dedicated professional to become part of their progressive and enthusiastic practice. This role offers the perfect blend of professional growth, work-life balance, and a supportive environment.
Imagine working just a four-day week, giving you ample time to enjoy your personal life while still pursuing your passion for veterinary medicine. Weekends are on a rota basis, ensuring you have plenty of time to recharge. Located in Greater Manchester which is near the picturesque area Peak District and the Lake District, with excellent transport links to the city centre of Manchester, you’ll have the best of both worlds – the tranquillity of nature and the vibrancy of city life.
This is a busy seven-branch group committed to providing gold standard care for their patients. With a Tier 3 hospital and a multi-disciplinary, certificate-led referral team in-house, you’ll have access to a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and advanced equipment. From CT scanners and doppler echocardiography to flexible/rigid endoscopes and advanced anaesthesia equipment, the resources available will support your clinical progression and development.
The role does involve some sole charge, so prior experience is essential. However, you’ll never feel alone with the support of a friendly and collaborative team. The practice prides itself on engaged client consent and offers an exciting caseload that will keep you challenged and motivated.
Benefits of joining this team include no on-call duties, a workplace pension, Health plan programme, Employee Assistance Program, and paid RCVS and one other membership fees. The practice also offers a generous and flexible CPD budget, with certificates funded and strongly encouraged. Additional perks include, enhanced parental leave, a cycle-to-work scheme, and generous pet discounts.
With 6.6 weeks of paid holiday, including bank holidays, and competitive salaries starting at £40,000 (depending on experience), this role offers a fantastic work-life balance. Flexible work applications are welcomed, and internal employee appreciation and long service awards ensure you feel valued and recognised.
 Visa Sponsorship available.
If you’re ready to take the next step in your veterinary career with a supportive and forward-thinking team, consider joining them today. Your expertise and passion for animal care will be highly valued and rewarded.
