Take the next steps in your veterinary career amidst the serene landscapes of Devon with this brand new, forward-thinking independent practice that prioritises a tranquil atmosphere for both its team and clientele. This inspiring practice is the perfect example of innovation and support, seeking a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to be part of their exciting journey.

This new practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including two consulting rooms, digital and dental X-ray capabilities, an in-house laboratory, and separate waiting and kennel areas for cats and dogs, all designed to achieve the gold standard of the International Society of Feline Medicine(ISFM). The environment is crafted to be as stress-free as possible, with a well-appointed staff space and bedroom to ensure comfort during shifts.

As a Veterinary Surgeon in this practice, enjoy the luxury of an administrative hour plus a 30-minute lunch break daily, ensuring a balanced workload. The working schedule is tailored to promote work-life harmony: a 4-day week from 9 am to 6 pm, amounting to a 40-hour week, and a 1 in 3 Saturday morning rotation until noon, with this being the only time you will work sole charge.

The ideal candidate will be adept in all areas of general practice medicine. Support is always at hand, ensuring a collaborative and nurturing work environment.

In recognition of personal and professional growth, the practice supports all Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and encourages the pursuit of certificates. Embrace the flexibility that comes with this role, alongside a generous holiday package of 33 days plus bank holidays and an extra day off to celebrate your birthday. Professional memberships are taken care of, and an annual CPD allowance is provided.

This is not just a job; it's a chance to thrive in a relaxed, supportive setting where the well-being of the team is as paramount as the care provided to patients. If you are ready to contribute to a practice that values your expertise and personal development, this could be the perfect setting for your talents to shine.

Contact Laura Collings through or 07570 606201 today for more information.

Please note you must be a qualified Veterinary Surgeon eligible to register with the RCVS and able to demonstrate right to work in the UK to be considered for this role.
