An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a progressive and community-focused practice that truly celebrates clinical excellence and individual growth. This is a role where flexibility, collaboration, and patient-centred care are at the heart of everything.

The Opportunity

Offering up to £62,000 per annum (depending on experience), this full-time position is based on a 4-day week with no on-call, though participation in a shared weekend and bank holiday day rota is part of the role.

This opportunity is ideal for a vet with a passion for medicine who is ready to take the next step in their career. Whether your strengths lie in consultations, complex case management, or mentoring the next generation of vets, the role can be tailored to suit your interests and ambitions.

Why This Role Stands Out

Flexibility to shape your role – focus on consults, case workups, or mentorship, depending on your preferences.
Collaborative, experienced team – join a group of 22 vets, many with postgraduate certificates, who value teamwork and clinical excellence.
Supportive mentoring culture – the opportunity to guide and develop new graduates within a nurturing, learning-focused environment.
Advanced facilities – work with modern diagnostic tools and a highly skilled nursing team to deliver outstanding care.
Varied caseload – enjoy a diverse and stimulating range of cases in a well-equipped, RCVS-accredited setting.

About the Practice

This friendly, first-opinion practice is part of a wider network of RCVS-accredited branches and a 24-hour veterinary hospital. The team prides itself on offering high-quality, affordable, and compassionate care to pets and their owners, while maintaining strong ties with the local community and supporting a range of animal charities.

Collaboration is at the heart of their culture. Clinical and non-clinical colleagues work closely to deliver bespoke, personalised care, underpinned by integrity, teamwork, and genuine passion for animal welfare.
