Are you ready to join a practice that genuinely values its people?

Imagine a place where positivity, support, and open communication are the norm. My client in North Northamptonshire prides itself on fostering a family-like atmosphere with a longstanding team that embodies loyalty and commitment. Here, management listens without judgement, offers guidance to help you achieve your goals, and supports you in reaching your full potential. With no room for toxicity, this practice has created a welcoming, collaborative environment where every team member is empowered to succeed and grow.

This is an exhilarating time to become part of the team, as the practice is not only expanding but also gearing up for an exciting relaunch and rebrand. With plans to extend in the near future, the practice is entering a dynamic new chapter, making it the perfect moment to join and contribute to its continued success.

The practice is seeking an experienced and self-sufficient veterinary surgeon who is confident in handling all routine consults and surgeries. Ideally, candidates will have 2 to 3 years of post-qualification experience. While any experience working with exotics would be a bonus, a willingness to learn and develop in this area is equally appreciated.

A generous CPD offering is available, and the team is actively encouraged to use it to further their interests and develop their skills in a direction of their choosing, including post-graduate qualifications or certificates.

You will be joining an inclusive and supportive team passionate about being at the heart of the local community. The team consists of two vets, including the Clinical Lead, four qualified RVNs, an SVN who is due to qualify, a VCA, and five receptionists. Alternative therapy and excellent facilities give you access to all the equipment and space you need to care for your patients.

The practice is set in a town within the beautiful Northamptonshire. Just a five-minute drive and you’re in the rural countryside.

Ideally, the role is full-time, but flexible working is up for discussion to get the right balance for you. Currently, the weekend rota is one in three Saturdays with limited cover to keep it fair for everyone. There will be an element of sole charge but no out-of-hours responsibility.

The package includes:
- Competitive salary up to £60,000 (dependent on experience)
- Annual leave – 5.6 weeks
- Contributory pension scheme
- Private healthcare
- Generous CPD and funding for certificates for the right candidate
- Paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS)
- Supportive and friendly team environment
- Relocation packages from within or outside the UK, including visa sponsorship if needed
- Exclusive company discounts and rewards, including High Street retailers and restaurants
