Located just outside Leeds in suburban West Yorkshire, this is a well-established practice known for its close-knit team, varied caseload, and pleasant clientele. With a high percentage of insured patients, the practice ensures that veterinary surgeons can effectively work up and treat their patients. The team boasts a wealth of knowledge and experience, providing ample support and mentorship for newer graduate vets.

They is currently on the lookout for a full-time or part-time veterinary surgeon to join their fantastic practice. Whether a confident recent graduate or a more experienced vet, the ideal candidate will be enthusiastic about delivering the highest level of service to clients and patients. 

Candidates should ideally have some post-graduate experience and be confident in routine surgeries and consultations. A commitment to continuous improvement and skill development is essential, as the practice expects all veterinarians to practice evidence-based medicine. With a SAS certificate holder on the team, the practice keeps the majority of surgical cases in-house, providing an excellent opportunity to build skills in advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgical procedures.

This role offers flexibility with full or part-time hours and requires working 1 in 3 Saturdays (opening hours 9-4). There are no out-of-hours or bank holiday commitments.
