A rewarding role awaits as a Small Animal Vet, either full or part-time, at this well-regarded branch surgery in Norfolk. This position offers a harmonious work-life balance with no out-of-hours or weekend commitments and a salary ranging up to £60,000, depending on experience.
The clinic boasts a dynamic and supportive team, equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The team is committed to excellence in patient care, adhering to gold-standard clinical protocols and is designed with the well-being of both patients and staff in mind, featuring separate wards for cats, dogs, and exotic animals to minimise stress. The practice also boasts a dedicated dental suite, imaging room with advanced digital x-ray and ultrasound equipment, a well-equipped in-house laboratory, three spacious consultation rooms, a large waiting room with distinct areas for cats, dogs, and anxious pets and a serene quiet room for euthanasia, furnished with toys, treats, and a sofa for a peaceful farewell
The clinic also prides itself on its highly skilled nursing team, offering specialist clinics in dermatology, diabetes management, weight management, and puppy preschool. Nurses are encouraged to pursue further qualifications, including Schedule 3 procedures, ultrasonography, advanced medical nursing, anaesthesia, feline behaviour, and dermatology allowing them to reach their full potential. They also have two in-house behaviourists who provide additional support to the clinical team, running behaviour appointments and training sessions weekly.
The practice is eco-conscious, with initiatives like reusable clinical charts, a compost heap, and a herb garden for rabbits. A wildlife fund supports the treatment of stray animals and wildlife.
