Are you ready to elevate your veterinary career in a forward-thinking and flexible practice?
Look no further! A prestigious practice in South Wales is seeking a dedicated veterinary professional to join their dynamic team, offering a competitive salary of up to £70,000, depending on experience.
Nestled within a 2-mile drive of the M4 and a short 20-minute drive from the stunning South Wales coast and vibrant Cardiff, this practice provides the perfect blend of convenience and beauty. Recently revamped, the facility boasts a spacious and modern environment featuring four consult rooms, a kennel and cattery, two theatres, a prep theatre, a full in-house lab, an isolation area, a washroom, and a separate office. The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including a Doppler ultrasound, ECG, endoscope, digital x-ray, and dental x-ray, ensuring comprehensive care for all patients.
The practice prides itself on its supportive and collaborative atmosphere. The team comprises two vets, four veterinary nurses (two students and two qualified), ten veterinary care assistants, a dedicated reception team, and an experienced practice manager. This cohesive unit ensures that every team member receives the support they need to thrive. Beyond the clinic, the practice engages in charity events, fostering a sense of community and giving back.
Flexibility is a cornerstone of this role. Whether you prefer short days, long days, full-time, or part-time hours, the practice is committed to accommodating your needs. Enjoy the freedom to take extended lunch breaks for a refreshing walk on the beach with your furry friend. The practice also encourages professional growth, offering support for training and certifications tailored to your interests.
In addition to a competitive salary, the benefits package includes 28 days of annual leave (including bank holidays), rising to 33 days after two years of service (pro rata). Paid lunch breaks, generous CPD allowances, paid memberships (RCVS, BVA, VDS), no out-of-hours or overnight patient checks, a contributory pension scheme, and exclusive company discounts and rewards are also provided.
Ideal candidates will have a solid general knowledge of surgery and a strong medical background. However, the practice is open to discussions with individuals at the beginning of their veterinary journey.
Join a practice where exceptional care for patients is matched by exceptional care for colleagues. Embark on a fulfilling career in a supportive and enriching environment in South Wales. Visa Sponsorship provided for overseas candidates.
