Veterinary Surgeon - Part time

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon eager to join a warm and friendly team? Our client is excited to welcome a dedicated professional like you to their practice on a part time basis.

Nestled in charming West London, this practice boasts a diverse array of cases and a loyal client base. The well-equipped, purpose-built surgery meets industry-leading standards, featuring state-of-the-art equipment such as digital X-ray, ultrasound, separate wards for dogs, cats, and exotic animals, and in-house laboratory facilities. The bright, spacious, and air-conditioned environment ensures a comfortable workspace for both staff and patients.

You will be joining a well established and popular practice. The team comprises 3 Vets, 4 RVNs, an SVN, a VCA, and 5 Receptionists, all dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care. The nursing team, with their extensive experience, actively participates in cases and performs Schedule 3 tasks. Collaboration with neighbouring clinics allows for on-site cardiac ultrasounds and complex surgeries performed by a certificate holder.

The location offers excellent connectivity, being just 30 minutes from Central London by train, under 15 minutes from the M25/M3/M4, and only 2 miles from Heathrow Airport. With ample parking and proximity to local amenities and transport links, the location is both convenient and accessible. Additionally, the green spaces of Surrey and Middlesex are close by for those who enjoy outdoor activities.

As a dynamic and proactive Veterinary Surgeon, you will bring solid skills and confidence in routine consultations and surgeries. Your success will stem from your ability to embrace all aspects of the role, delivering excellent patient and client care. A strong team player, you will relish the variety this role offers.

The position ideally involves working every Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, with the potential for 1-2 additional days per week if needed. Different part-time options can be discussed, and while you will usually work with 1-2 other vets, there may be occasions of sole charge.
