Farm Veterinary Surgeon – Dorset
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Full-time (4 days) or part-time considered | 1:4 OOH rota
Holiday: 5.6 weeks
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Farm Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent start-up practice located in the heart of Dorset. This is a rare chance to become part of a growing, forward-thinking team in a region renowned for its dairy farming, with a strong base of progressive cattle and sheep clients.
The role
The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload that includes regular routine fertility work, pre-planned visits such as TB testing, emergency call-outs, and participation in a 1:4 out-of-hours rota. The practice is looking for a proactive vet who enjoys problem-solving, communicates clearly with both clients and colleagues, and has the confidence to take the lead on projects and farm investigations.
