Are you a passionate Veterinary Surgeon with a focus on primary care and surgery? My client based in Wiltshire, invites you to join a dynamic and supportive team that values your expertise and fosters professional growth.

At this established veterinary hospital, exceptional veterinary care is a cornerstone, encompassing everything from routine consultations to advanced referral services. The hospital boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a CT scanner, ultrasound and x-ray suites, extensive operating theatres, a dentistry suite, and a well-equipped laboratory. The multi-disciplinary team includes specialists in Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Surgery, ECC, and Neurology, ensuring a comprehensive approach to animal care.

As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you will work within a collaborative environment, primarily based at the main hospital with rotations through the consulting-only branches. The role offers a balanced schedule of 40 hours per week over four days, with a 1 in 8 weekend rota and minimal on-call duties, thanks to the on-site ECC team. This structure allows for a healthy work-life balance, with two days off in lieu following weekend work.

Beyond clinical responsibilities, you’ll have the chance to participate in various initiatives, such as mentoring recent graduates, or organising social events.
