Lead Veterinary Surgeon (Certificate Holder)
Location: Leicestershire
Hours: 4-day week, 8am-6pm or 8.30am-6.30pm, with a 1:5 weekend rota and protected leadership time
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum (Depending on experience)

The Role

As the Lead Small Animal Vet, you will oversee the day-to-day clinical caseload and business operations of the hospital, ensuring exceptional, bespoke, and affordable care rooted in best-practice veterinary medicine. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Supporting the smooth transition from the current practice to the new hospital.
- Leading and mentoring colleagues, including graduate vets, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
- Contributing to the strategic growth of the practice as part of the senior leadership team.
- Representing company values and commitment to clinical excellence within the wider group network.

Skills and Experience Required

- Previous leadership experience is essential.
- Must hold a postgraduate certificate, ideally with a medicine bias or imaging.
- Strong clinical decision-making abilities and the capacity to interpret diagnostics.
- A confident, collaborative attitude that helps maintain a positive team culture and excellent client care relationships.
- Ability to drive clinical governance and ensure compliance with practice protocols.
- A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and remains calm under pressure.
