Our clients are a 3 branch, Independent practice based in Surrey. All 3 branches are RCVS accredited as well as being a nurse training practice and they cover all their own out of hours from the main branch. They are well established, having been caring for the pets in their community for over 100 years and have a loyal and varied client base.
They actively encourage CPD and personal growth and are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate vet nurse to join their fantastic team. The team presently consists of 2 clinical directors, 11 veterinary surgeons, 16 nurses and 19 reception/support staff.
The role itself is full time, permanent working 37.5 hours per week, with weekends and out of hours worked on a rota basis (roughly 1 in 12), allowing for a great work/life balance. Applicants will ideally be confident working sole charge and happily work as part of a team. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and have a genuine passion for patient and client care.
The practice itself boasts all you could expect from a practice of this size, offering spacious consultation rooms, waiting and prep area, patient wards, surgical theatre, x-ray and ultrasound. It is based just south of London and offers a fantastic base for travel to and from London via train or bus and offers stunning local parks and Greenland to explore during your days off. It is also less than 20minutes from Gatwick Airport, so is ideally situated for anyone looking to travel regularly or living in the UK and travelling back and forth to Europe to see friends and family.
