Registered Veterinary Nurse - Hospital role

My client, based in beautiful Lancashire, is seeking enthusiastic and motivated RVNs to join their dynamic team of 23 nurses. As an independent RCVS accredited hospital, they pride themselves on offering exceptional care in modern, purpose-built premises.

Work Schedule and Benefits

There are both permanent weekday and weekend positions, accommodating full-time and part-time candidates. The full-time daytime nurses currently work a 40-hour week across 8-hour shifts between 7:30 am and 10:00 pm on weekdays, with a 1:8 weekend rotation. Weekend shifts are from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Saturdays and 8:00 am to 8:00 pm on Sundays. Nurses working weekends receive two lieu days the following week and an additional 10 hours of pay for Sunday shifts. For those interested in more weekend work, they are open to discussing positions with increased Saturday or Sunday shifts.

Exceptional Facilities and Team

The practice boasts a bright, airy, and purpose-built facility equipped with eight consulting rooms, including one dedicated to bereavement, two operating theatres, separate dental, x-ray, and diagnostic rooms, and five wards. Advanced equipment such as ultrasonography, digital x-ray, endoscopy, hydrotherapy, and class IV laser therapy ensures we provide the best and most current treatments.
