The Role
This position is perfect for an enthusiastic and capable all-round Registered Veterinary Nurse who thrives on variety and enjoys being part of a hospital team where no two days are the same. You will be involved in a mix of consults, theatre, inpatient care, and ward nursing, working within a 24-hour hospital environment that offers excellent clinical exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct nurse consults including booster vaccinations, weight clinics, post-operative checks, and client education.
- Provide inpatient and ward nursing, including monitoring and hands-on patient care.
- Offer theatre support across routine and advanced procedures.
- Assist in emergency and critical care alongside experienced clinicians.
- Contribute to the development of nurse-led clinics and services.
- Support students and newly qualified colleagues where appropriate.
About you
- RCVS-registered Veterinary Nurse.
- Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused.
- Comfortable working across different areas of nursing.
- A strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Keen to develop professionally within a hospital setting.
- Newly qualified nurses are welcome, with structured support provided.
