We have a fantastic opportunity for a Veterinary surgeon with at least 2 years experience in practice, in a well-established veterinary hospital based in the heart of London.
This role is full time, permanent and offers a varied caseload including routine, emergency and critical care cases as well as providing inpatient/ward care. As there is a dedicated night team there is no out or hours or night shift requirements within this role and you will be working with an experienced team of vets, nurses, student nurses and clinical managers working across all departments. Candidates will ideally be friendly and hardworking, confident working sole charge and proactively as part of a team. You should also ideally have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and be comfortable discussing treatment plans, finances and cases with both clients and during handover and case discussions with the clinical team.
This role is fast paced and would lend itself perfectly to an energetic vet with at least 2 years of experience (ideally working in a hospital environment) who is eager to develop their skills, offer gold standard care to all patients at all times and who can keep up within a busy hospital environment.
The hospital itself is first opinion and supports the surrounding branch practices with internal referrals, hospitalisation and emergency care. It boasts specialists in ophthalmology, orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery, dentistry, dermatology and physiotherapy. This allows them to offer their clients a full range of treatments and care inhouse and ensure continuity of care wherever possible.
The hospital is state of the art, fully equipped with all you could expect from a 24/7 hospital and holds hospital level accreditations from the RCVS and Silver Awards from ISFM for their cat friendly clinics.

Annual salary of £42,000 to £46,000
